MX Sport Last – This last features a larger, roomier toe-box than our Comfort last while providing increased foot control through the heel & saddle of the foot. The resulting fit is designed for aggressive riding while remaining comfortable to wear all day. Ideal for couriers, adventure cyclists & anyone else who wears their cycling shoes for long periods of time. Outsole

Our MX177 has a Supergrip Enduro Sole with Ice Lock anti-slip lug inserts. What really makes the MX177 stand out is its amazing Fiberglass injected nylon sole. Lake’s nylon sole is world famous for its uncompromising comfort, stability and performance.  

We pioneered this sole and are proud to remain ahead of the pack with this industry leading product, ensuring that all your effort is transferred into performance. No other injected nylon sole offers the same level of stiffness or comfort. Combined with a real rubber sole, the MX177 is one of the most versatile cycling shoes available.
Upper

We’ve used a Clarino Microfiber & mesh upper on our CX177, giving a perfect blend of durability and breathability. The CX177 features form fitting and durable microfiber and mesh upper, with well-researched mesh placement to allow your feet to breathe. The comfortable and secure BOA® closure utilizes technical Carbitex tongue panels for reduced friction lace adjustment and comfort.

Closure

BOA® Fit System L6 dial. The L6 dial offers a precise, micro-adjustable fit, maximum impact protection and durability.  It’s super secure and super comfortable and easy to adjust on the fly, too.
